At least two people died and several others were injured following a multi-vehicle collision in Hameelinna, southern Finland, on Friday afternoon, local media reported.

Eight cars and one truck with 16 people were involved in the fatal collision, said the rescue department.(Finland-Road-Deaths)

BANGKOK -- Six people were injured on Friday evening after a car crashed into the fence of the Erawan Shrine, the popular tourist attraction in central Bangkok, local media reported.

The accident took place at around 8:20 p.m. local time when a light blue Toyota sedan lost control and veered off the Ratchaprasong intersection. The car hit the fence and slammed into the Erawan Shrine, a Hindu shrine hit by a fatal bombing last August.(Thailand-Car Crash)

PARIS -- Interpol has joined the global coalition to counter the Islamic State (IS) to support efforts in stemming the flow of foreign terrorist fighters and stopping IS financing, said the world police body based in Lyon, France, in a statement released on Friday.

Interpol would act as the "catalyst" for a strong, international policing component in this united effort to counter the terrorist threat, said Interppol's Secretary General Jurgen Stock, who was attending the global coalition's ministerial meeting on fighting IS held in Washington.(France-Interpol-Islamic State)

BERLIN -- German police said early on Saturday that there might be only one shooter involved in an attack in a shopping mall in Munich which killed at least 8 people and injured several others Friday evening.

"We found a man who killed himself. We assume, that he was the only shooter," said Munich police on its Twitter account.(Germany-Munich attack) Endi
