There may be only one shooter in Munich attack: police

German police said early on Saturday that there might be only one shooter involved in an attack in Munich which killed at least 8 people Friday evening.

"We found a man who killed himself. We assume, that he was the only shooter," said Munich police on its Twitter account.

The police said initially on Friday that there were three perpetrators involved in the attack in a shopping mall in Munich.

After the police firstly announced eight fatal casualties on Twitter, they updated with another Tweet late on Friday, saying that the police was verifying the possibility of another dead person they had found "being involved in the shooting". Endit
