Chinese premier returns from Mongolia visit, ASEM summit

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang returned to Beijing on Saturday afternoon after his four-day trip to Mongolia.

Li made an official visit to the neighboring country from July 13 to 14, in which he held talks with Mongolian Prime Minister Jargaltulga Erdenebat and met with Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj and Chairman of the State Great Hural (Mongolia's parliament) Miyegombo Enkhbold.

He also attended the 11th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit in Mongolian capital Ulan Bator from July 15 to 16.

On the sidelines of the summit, Li also held bilateral meetings with leaders of some ASEM members, including Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Endi
