Spanish stock market falls 0.38 pct, closes at 8,473 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 fell 0.38 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,473.90 points, down from the 8,506 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session Banco Santander led falls losing 2.03 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, Mapfre, Telefonica, ACS and Abertis A that lost 1.95 percent, 1.95 percent, 1.81 percent, 1.38 percent and 1.29 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Sabadell shares led rises climbing 2.90 percent, followed by Acerinox, Merlin, Banco Popular, Iberdrola and Caixabank that rose 2.45 percent, 1.86 percent, 1.52 percent, 1.50 percent and 1.45 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 128.60 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.15 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday. Endit
