Ujah' s brilliant goal help Liaoning beat Shijiazhuang

Xinhua, July 8, 2016 Adjust font size:

Liaoning' s football fans didn't wait long to see their Nigerian striker Ujah's excellent skills as he contributed a perfect goal in his first show at Shenyang, helping Liaoning Whowin defeat Shijiazhuang Ever Bright 2-1 in the 16th round of 2016 Chinese Super League(CSL).

Liaoning took the lead in the 15th minute with Dario Vidosic kicked the ball into the empty net. Both sides had several chances after the goal but neither of them changed the score.

In the 61st minute, Liaoning's head coach Ma Lin sent the new signing, Nigerian international Ujah, on to the pitch to replace Vidosic. And the former Bremen striker repaid the coach's trust with a brilliant goal in the 82nd minute to help the host double their lead.

Although Matthews pulled one back with a long shot goal in the 88th minute, there is no more time for Shijiazhuang to score another one and they only had to concede their third straight loss. Endit
