Xinhua, July 6, 2016 Adjust font size:

Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met with Kenya's Deputy President William Ruto here on Wednesday, vowing to build China-Kenya ties into a new model of China-Africa win-win cooperation and common development.

Ruto is visiting China to attend the Eco Forum Global Annual Conference 2016.

China appreciates Kenya's firm support for China on Taiwan and the South China Sea issue, said Li.

He said China is willing to work with Kenya to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides.

Ruto thanked China for its contributions to Kenya's development, saying that Kenya is ready to forge a closer partnership with China by strengthening cooperation in infrastructure construction and human resources development.

The Eco Forum Global will be held in Guiyang, capital city of southwest China's Guizhou Province, from July 8 to 10. Endi
