British FTSE 100 decreases 0.84 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 0.84 percent, or 55.57 points, to 6,552.26 points.

Share price of Fresnillo increased by 7.67 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Randgold Resources, Glencore, Antofagasta and BHP Billiton decreased by 4.39 percent, 4.36 percent, 2.34 percent and 1.30 percent respectively.

British Land led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 7.15 percent, followed by Persimmon (6.82 percent), Barratt Developments (6.43 percent), Berkeley Group Holdings (6.37 percent) and Taylor Wimpey PLC (6.32 percent). Endit
