-- Ethiopia is elected by the United Nations General Assembly as a non-permanent member to the Security Council to serve a two year term as of January 2017. (Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation/EBC)

-- Long standing diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and Serbia need to be upgraded to a higher level to maximize benefits of both nations, Ethiopian President Mulatu Teshome urged.
