Spanish stock market rises 2.48 pct, closes at 7,835 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 2.48 percent on Tuesday to close at 7,835 points, up from the 7,646.50 points of Monday when the negative impact of Brexit dragged the index to a three year low.

On Tuesday session, Bankia shares led rises climbing 8.24 percent, followed by AENA, Acerinox, Gamesa, Indra A and Merlin that rose 6.60 percent, 6.28 percent, 4.78 percent, 4.48 percent and 4.25 percent respectively.

On the other hand, only ArcelorMittal shares fell on Tuesday session losing 0.68 percent.

Spain's risk premium closed at 143.20 points, below the 156.60 points of Monday and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.31 percent, also below the 1.42 percent of Monday's closing time. Endit
