Chinese, Cuban officials meet on judicial cooperation

BEIJING, June 27 (Xinhua) - A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) met with Cuban Minister of Justice Maria Esther Reus Gonzalez on bilateral judicial cooperation here on Monday.

Meng Jianzhu, head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Central Committee, said the Chinese side was ready to work with the Cuban side to deepen legal and judicial cooperation.

Reus echoed Meng saying the Cuban side was willing to strengthen cooperation with China in all areas.

Meng is also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. Endit
