One killed in crude bomb blast in eastern India

Xinhua, June 27, 2016 Adjust font size:

One man was killed and at least four others were injured in a crude bomb explosion in a house in the eastern Indian state West Bengal's Murshidabad district Sunday night, said local media Monday.

The victims were making crude bombs in a house in Samserganj district when one of them went off, Indo-Asian News Service quoted police as saying.

Four others were rushed to a hospital with serious injuries in the blast, said the report.

West Bengal is haunted by lawlessness in some districts where local politics were entangled with criminal groups.

At least four people were killed and three others injured in a crude bomb blast in Jainpur village of Malda district of West Bengal last month. Endit
