(Sports) Int'l table tennis tourney to open in southern Vietnam

An international table tennis tournament will kick off on June 23 in Vietnam's southern Vinh Long province, with the participation of 280 players from Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand, its organizer said Tuesday.

The participants come from 46 Vietnamese clubs and four foreign ones, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said, noting that among them are leading table tennis players from the four countries. Vietnam's leading table tennis players, including Dinh Quang Linh, Mai Hoang My Trang, Dinh Thi Hang and Pham Thi Thien Kim will compete at the tournament named Vinh Long Open 2016. Endit
