U.S. dollar rises against most major currencies

The U.S. dollar increased against most major currencies on Thursday as investors were digesting the newly-released Federal Reserve statement and a batch of economic data from the country.

In late New York trading, the euro fell to 1.1239 dollars from 1.1267 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 104.38 Japanese yen, lower than 105.76 in the previous session. Endit
