British FTSE 100 decrease 0.27 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 0.27 percent, or 16.32 points, to 5,950.48 points.

Share price of Randgold Resources increased by 4.77 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Fresnillo, BP, Glencore and British American Tobacco increased by 1.73 percent, 1.49 percent, 1.43 percent and 1.11 percent respectively.

Ashtead Group led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.81 percent, following by Mediclinic International (3.67 percent), Severn Trent (3.06 percent), Anglo American (2.95 percent) and Lloyds Banking Group (2.60 percent). Endit
