Dollar in lower 106 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 106 yen level Wednesday morning in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 106.07-08 yen compared with 106.04-14 in New York and 105.85-87 in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.1211-1212 dollars and 118.92-93 yen against 1.1199-1209 dollars and 118.84-94 yen in New York and 1.1250-1252 dollars and 119.08-12 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endit
