Fifty people were killed and 53 others were injured early Sunday morning in a shooting incident at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, said the city's authorities.

KABUL -- Up to 46 militants had been killed in clashes with security forces and airstrikes across Afghanistan within day, the Afghan Defense Ministry said on Sunday.
