Macedonia's ex-interior minister Boskovski released after five years in jail

Former Macedonian Minister of Interior Ljube Boskovski was released from prison after being jailed for five years on Friday, Macedonian Information Agency reported.

The leader of United for Macedonia party was arrested on June 6, 2011 for illegally financing an electoral campaign in Skopje.

United for Macedonia was considered a serious contender in the 2011 parliamentary election in Macedonia but did not win any seats in the parliament. Endit
