Dollar trades in upper 108 yen zone as early deals start in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 108 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Friday morning, largely in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 108.88-89 yen compared with 108.83-93 yen in New York and 108.95-96 yen at 5 p.m. in Tokyo on Thursday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1151-1152 dollars and 121.43-44 yen against 1.1146-1156 dollars and 121.38-48 yen in New York and 1.1213-1214 dollars and 122.17-21 yen in late trade in Tokyo on Thursday afternoon. Endit
