The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Monday.

-- Kia Motors will build training centers for mechanics in Ethiopia and Kenya in a bid to contribute to their economies by providing education for young people.

A Kia Motors official said Sunday that the company held a groundbreaking ceremony for the center in Ethiopia on Friday and is expected to have another in Kenya Monday. (Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporate/EBC)

-- The targets set by the African Development Bank (AfDB) have been included in Ethiopia's development programs which proved to be useful in accelerating development, disclosed State Minister of Finance and Economic Cooperation Ahmed Shide.

The State Minister attended the 2016 Annual Meetings of the African Development Bank held from 23-27 May, 2016 in Lusaka, Zambia.

The official told ENA in Lusaka that the bank's five priority areas ("High5") complement Ethiopia's development plans which proved to be useful. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA) Endit
