British FTSE 100 rose 0.04 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday rose by 0.04 percent, or 2.80 points, to 6,265.65 points.

Share price of Intu Properties increased by 2.01 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. 3i Group, Glencore, J Sainsbury and BHP Billiton increased by 1.97 percent, 1.91 percent, 1.79 percent and 1.74 percent, respectively.

Carnival led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.15 percent, following by Royal Bank of Scotland Group (2.89 percent), Whitbread (2.62 percent), DCC (2.53 percent) and Marks & Spencer Group (2.20 percent). Enditem
