Dozens of migrants were feared to have drowned as their packed boat capsized off the Libyan coast, Italian media said on Thursday.

NEW DELHI -- At least three people were killed and 28 others injured Thursday in blasts inside a chemical factory in the Indian state of Maharashtra, officials said.
The blasts occurred at Dombivali in Thane district, about 40 km north of Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Television reports, however, put the number of injured in blasts over 100. Authorities have rushed fire tenders to the spot to douse the flames. (India-Fire-Deaths)

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan on Thursday for the first time confirmed Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Mansoor's death in a recent U.S. drone strike in the country's southwest remote area along the Pak-Afghan border region.
Mullah Mansoor was killed by the U.S. drone strike on Saturday afternoon when he was traveling in a vehicle near a small town named Ahmad Wal in Balochistan Province which borders Afghanistan and Iran. (Pakistan-Taliban)

KINSHASA -- Clashes broke out on Thursday morning between police and protesting opposition supporters in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo).
The opposition supporters were protesting against a recent Constitutional Court ruling authorizing President Joseph Kabila to remain in power beyond the end of his term until the organization of presidential elections. So far, Congolese authorities have not announced the new date for the elections that were initially scheduled to take place this year.(DR Congo-Clashes)
