Pan-African parliament president renews rejection of ICC procedures against Sudan

President of the Pan-African Parliament Roger Nkodo on Tuesday renewed rejection of the procedures of the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Sudan and the injustice it is exercising against African countries.

Addressing a parliamentary gathering in Khartoum Tuesday, Nkodo said Africa is one block in its rejection of the ICC procedures against Sudan.

He said Africa does not need the ICC which exercises "selective justice", noting that Africa needs African justice.

On March 2009, the ICC issued an arrest warrant against Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir for allegedly committing war crimes in Sudan's Darfur region.

The African Union, with all its commissions, refuse to deal with the international arrest warrant, regarding the ICC measures as politicized and selective. Endit
