Spanish stock market falls 0.65 pct, closes at 8,714 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.65 percent on Monday to close at 8,714 points, down from the 8,771.20 points of Friday.

On Monday session ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 3.18 percent, followed by Banco Santander, Ferrovial, BBVA, Iberdrola and OHL that lost 1.76 percent, 1.66 percent, 1.47 percent, 1.33 percent and 1.23 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Indra A shares led rises climbing 2.21 percent, followed by Grifols, Merlin, Sacyr, IAG and Acerinox that rose 1.72 percent, 1.64 percent, 1.51 percent, 1.28 percent and 0.97 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 139.80 points, which was slightly below the 140.20 points of Friday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.57 percent, showing no differences when compared with Friday closing time. Endit
