Chinese premier meets Mozambican president

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with visiting Mozambican President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi on Thursday, pledging cooperation in industrial production capacity.

"China supports Mozambique's efforts to safeguard national security and promote national reconciliation, and is willing to offer assistance within our capacity to improve the country's economic development and people's livelihood," Li told Nyusi.

Li said China supports domestic enterprises to participate in building infrastructure and cooperation in energy and resources in Mozambique, expressing willingness to cooperate in international industrial production capacity.

Nyusi thanked China for its support for Mozambique's independence and social and economic development, saying Mozambique is ready to enhance practical cooperation with China in industrial production capacity, energy and mining, agriculture and tourism. Endi
