Indian stocks closed lower Wednesday following heightened fears of a rate hike by the U.S. Federal Reserve.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,704.61, 69.00 points or 0.27 percent down from the previous close of 25,773.61, with a turnover of 450.66 crore rupees (about 67.4 million U.S. dollars). Endit
