Dollar hovers at 109-yen line in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands just above 109 yen early Wednesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 109.04-05 yen compared with 109.11-21 yen in New York and 109.40-41 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.1313-1313 dollars and 123.35-36 yen against 1.1309-1319 dollars and 123.43-53 yen in New York and 1.1338-1339 dollars and 124.04-08 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endit
