Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, one of the main figures who took part in Leyends' Match played in Mexico City's Azteca Stadium, said he is attracted by the Mexican football and might lead some local team one day, local press reported on Thursday.

In the framework of FIFA Congress currently held in Mexico City, on Wednesday a match played between several soccer stars was held in Azteca stadium with the participation of Mourinho, Figo, and others.

"I would like to go to the places where there is passion and here in Mexico there is great passion for soccer, but it is not yet the time because I am still strong and young for the high competitiveness of Europe. Maybe two years more and I might think about other alternatives," he said.

"I like the examples of Mexican football in Europe, despite there is not much of it. But I know about the great teams in Mexico, it is a very technical style and very attractive," said Mourinho.

Mourinho referred to Mexican player Raul Jimenez. "He is playing in my country (Portugal), I think he is fabulous, he has done a great job and he is becoming outstanding."

The Portuguese coach led the Leyends' Team on Wednesday. He said these activities helped to show a different vision of FIFA. "I love to participate in these events, especially now that FIFA is in another stage," he said. Endit
