Rio 2016 unveils staff uniforms

Xinhua, May 13, 2016 Adjust font size:

Staff and volunteers at this year's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro will be decked out in bright green, blue, yellow and red uniforms, organizers said on Thursday.

Green will be for those that have direct contact with the public, blue for technical officials, yellow for operational staff and red for medical teams, officials said.

"I love them, they are spectacular," Rio 2016 president Carlos Nuzman told reporters during a press conference.

"I had already seen each one. But together they give a highly positive impression. The Brazilian colors help a lot. They will make a big impression during the Games."

The Olympics will be held from August 5 to 21 and the Paralympics from September 7 to 18. Endit
