Spanish stock market falls 1.27 pct, closes at 8,663 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 fell 1.27 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,663.90 points, down from the 8,775.20 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, Gas Natural shares led falls losing 5.53 percent, followed by Mapfre, Merlin, Bankia, BBVA and Indra A that lost 3.05 percent, 2.31 percent, 2.17 percent, 2.11 percent and 2.09 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 4.21 percent, followed by Acerinox, Tecnicas Reunidas, Gamesa and FCC that rose 1.56 percent, 0.58 percent, 0.48 percent and 0.08 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 148.10, falling slightly from the 151.40 points of Tuesday, while Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.6 percent, showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday. Endit
