The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Wednesday.
-- Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn left for Rwanda on Tuesday to partake in the World Economic Forum on Africa 2016.
The forum to be held in Kigali as of Wednesday will be discussing Africa's investment options, agriculture, and technology. (Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation/EBC)
-- Some 41 people were killed by landslides in Wolaita zone, SNNP (southern) regional state of Ethiopia, following heavy rains in five kebeles (districts) on Monday, according to zonal police department.

-- A UK trade mission to Ethiopia arrived in Addis Ababa Monday for a three day visit from 10-12 May.
The trade mission follows on the back of a successful UK-Ethiopia Trade and Investment Forum in London last year.
