China auto sales up 6.3 pct in April

Auto sales in China, the world's biggest auto market, surged 6.3 percent year on year to 2.12 million units in April, data from an industry association showed on Wednesday.

Sales of passenger cars rose by 6.5 percent year on year to 1.78 million units last month, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. Endi
