A young man stabbed people indiscriminately and injured four passengers early Tuesday at a train station near Munich, Bavarian Radio reported.

The incident happened around 5 a.m. at the Grafing train station. One of the four injured was in serious condition, the report said.

Bavarian Radio cited eyewitnesses as saying that the young man shouted religious words in the incident.

The man was overpowered and arrested. The police have launched a criminal investigation to confirm whether the man has an Islamist background. Endi
