British FTSE 100 rises 0.14 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 0.14 percent, or 8.45 points, to 6,125.70 points.

Share price of Randgold Resources increased by 6.57 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Fresnillo, Rolls-Royce Holdings, Pearson and BAE Systems increased by 6.16 percent, 2.62 percent, 1.86 percent and 1.75 percent respectively.

Inmarsat led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 5.85 percent, followed by ITV (2.87 percent), Standard Chartered (1.69 percent), BT Group (1.67 percent) and easyJet (1.67 percent). Endit
