AU, Rwanda sign host agreement of July's AU summit

The African Union (AU) and Rwanda have signed an agreement over the holding of the 27th AU summit in Kigali slated for July 10-18.

Djeneba Diarra, Secretary General of the AU Commission, and Hope Tumukunde Gasatura, Rwanda's ambassador to Ethiopia and permanent representative to AU, signed the agreement on Tuesday at the AU headquarters in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.

Speaking on the occasion, Gasatura reiterated her country's commitment to ensuring a successful AU summit.

Diarra lauded the good cooperation between the AU Commission and the Rwandan government in preparing the 27th AU summit. Endit
