The following are highlights of South African major media outlets on Sunday.

-- Julius Malema dared ministers to arrest him on Saturday after the African National Congress (ANC) laid charges of treason against the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader earlier this week.

-- Individual ANC members in four provinces are gearing up to raise funds to help President Jacob Zuma pay his Nkandla bill after one region decided to open up a trust account for him.

-- Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has set the stage for a possible backlash from the Independent Electoral Commission when he "warned" the body not to rig elections.

At the same time, he kept up his war talk, warning the EFF would "respond to (violence) with violence", and that the army would force President Jacob Zuma to step down before 2019. (Mail & Guardian) Endit
