One police officer was killed and 13 others wounded in a bomb attack on the front gate of the police headquarters in the province of Gaziantep of southeastern Turkey on Sunday, Gaziantep Governor Ali Yerlikaya confirmed.

One police officer was killed and at least nine policemen and four civilians were injured in the suspected car bomb attack, local NY news broadcaster quoted Yerlikayathe as saying.

Private broadcaster CNN Turk reported that the blast occurred in front of the barriers of the police headquarters. Endit
