Industrial Bank's net profits rise 6.51 pct in 2015

China's Industrial Bank, a mid-sized lender, said on Thursday that its net profits climbed 6.51 percent year on year to 50.21 billion yuan (7.72 billion U.S. dollars) in 2015.

In its annual report filed to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the lender said its total assets hit 5.3 trillion yuan at the end of December, up 20.25 percent from the start of 2015.

Green finance has become one of the bank's most prominent businesses. It had extended 804.6 billion yuan in green loans to more than 6,000 companies by the end of 2015.

In a separate report, the lender said its net profits gained 6.15 percent from one year earlier to 15.7 billion yuan in the first quarter of 2016. Total assets reached 5.47 trillion yuan at the end of March. Endi
