DAMASCUS -- At least 34 rebels have been killed when they launched an attack on government-controlled areas in Syria's northern province of Aleppo, a monitor group said Wednesday.

WASHINGTON -- U.S. space agency NASA views China as a "potential partner," not a threat, in the civilian space area, said its head Wednesday.
NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said that "engagement always beats isolation. Engagement always beats trying to do things on their own." GENEVA -- UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura said early Thursday morning that the start date for the next round of intra-Syrian peace talks will be announced in May, with one or two more rounds of negotiations scheduled to take place before July.
