Former 400m hurdles Olympic champion retires

Former Olympic 400-meter hurdles champion Felix Sanchez announced his retirement Tuesday in a video press conference.

The 38-year-old won't be able to defend his title in Rio Olympic Games. He also claimed a gold medal in the 2004 Olympics.

During his career, he won 43 straight 400-meter hurdles races between 2001 and 2004. Endit
