China's key Hushen 300 index futures opened higher on Wednesday, as the contract for settlement in May 2016 opened 0.55 percent higher at 3,148.20 points.

The June 2016 contract opened 1.06 percent higher at 3,120.00 points. The September 2016 contract opened 0.53 percent higher at 2,998.80 points. The December 2016 contract opened 0.42 percent higher at 2,918.60 points.
