"The Jungle Book" gets second week box office win in China

Disney's "The Jungle Book" continued to lead the box office in its second week after release, China Film News reported on Tuesday.

The 3D live-action animated film directed by Jon Favreau raked in 323million yuan (49.7 million U.S.dollars) in sales in the week ending April 24. It was debut on April 15.

"Yesterday Once More", a domestic campus romance, opened in a promising second place, taking 99.2 million yuan after release on April 22.

The Universal's film "Huntsman: Winter's War" finished in third place with 68.7 million dollars. The film also debuted on April 22.

Action-thriller "London Has Fallen" came in fourth with 34.2 million yuan.

Rounding out the top five was China-ROK co-production "My New Sassy Girl", which has grossed 23.9 million yuan since April 22. Endi
