Two men were shot dead during a daytime shooting in Grenoble, southeastern France, a local news channel reported on Monday.

A shooting occurred in front of a school, leaving two people dead and another seriously wounded, BFMTV said in its report, noting that the injured man was not in a critical situation.

A burned-out car was later discovered in a neighboring city, it added.

Citing close source to the investigation, the report said the shooting was "targeted" and was likely related to drug trafficking. Endi
