Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang welcomed U.S. enterprises to strengthen exchanges with their Chinese counterparts in high and new technology on Wednesday.

Wang made the remarks when meeting with Chuck Robbins, Chief Executive Officer of American tech-giant CISCO.

As China is promoting the Internet Plus drive, the country is welcoming CISCO and other U.S. businesses to have in-depth cooperation with Chinese companies, enhance exchanges in high and new technology and grasp market opportunities, Wang said.

Wang hoped such cooperation would bring mutual benefit and contribute to building a new type of major-country relations between China and the United States. Endi
