Russian grain reserves reach 23 mln tons on April 1

Russia's grain reserves reached 23.3 million tons on April 1, 2016, up 1.6 percent year on year, according to the Russian State Statistical Data (Rosstat).
According to the Rosstat, the reserves of wheat, millet and buckwheat increased 12.7 percent, 90 percent, and 34.1 percent, respectively, while those of rye and barley decreased 32.9 percent and 20.7 percent respectively, Russian newspaper Kommersant reported on Monday.
Russia's grain reserves have been increasing since 2013, when a drought in the previous year led to a minimum of 17.9 million tons. Endi
