The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Friday.

-- Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn has called on Qatari investors to invest in Ethiopia.

-- Ethiopian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Tedros Adhanom received an Australian delegation headed by the country's Special Envoy for Human Rights, Phillip Ruddock at his offices.

Stressing on the constantly growing relations between Ethiopia and Australia, Dr. Tedros said, "Ethiopia needs a consistent engagement with you." (Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation/EBC)

-- Sudanese President Omer Al-Bashir will lead a high-level delegation to participate in the 5th Tana Forum on Security in Africa to be held in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia, this Saturday.

A number of other African Heads of State and Government and officials of international and regional organizations are expected at the event. The two-day Tana Forum discusses issues of peace and security in Africa and means of enhancing co-operation among African governments for supporting security in their countries.
