Spanish stock market index rises 0.46 pct, closes at 8,861 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 rose 0.46 percent on Thursday to close at 8,861.50 points, up from the 8,820.70 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session, Ferrovial shares led rises climbing 3.84 percent, followed by Bankia, Gamesa, Caixabank, Banco Sabadell and BBVA that rose 2.52 percent, 1.36 percent, 1.25 percent, 1.21 percent and 1.15 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Abertis A shares led falls losing 1.78 percent, followed by Acerinox, Tecnicas Reunidas, ACS, AENA and ArcelorMittal that lost 1.20 percent, 1.11 percent, 0.60 percent, 0.58 percent and 0.47 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 133.50 points while Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.5 percent, both showing almost no differences when compared with Wednesday. Enditem
