Dollar in lower 109 yen level in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the lower 109 yen level early Thursday morning in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 109.42-43 yen compared with 109.30-40 yen in New York and 108.92-94 in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.1277-1279 dollars and 123.40-41 yen against 1.1268-1278 dollars and 123.26-36 yen in New York and 1.1353-1355 dollars and 123.66-70 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endit
