Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks extended gains for the second consecutive day on Tuesday as hope of a good monsoon kept investor sentiments bullish.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,145.59, 123.43 points or 0.49 percent up from previous close of 25,022.16, with a turnover of 489.09 crore rupees (about 73.6 million U.S. dollars). Endit
