Nigeria's cricket team resumes camping for Worlds

Xinhua, April 12, 2016 Adjust font size:

Nigeria on Monday said the national team had resumed its third phase camping for the World Cricket League Division Five.

Spokesperson for the Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) Musa Ehizoje said, "We have the best 22 players currently in camp now and from that group we will be selecting the best 14 for the championship."

According to him, the players will go on a training tour in the UK ahead of the tournament, noting that the series of camping was to ensure only the best players, in both experience and form, are selected.

The championship is scheduled for May 21-28, with Vanuatu, Oman, Tanzania, Guernsey, Nigeria and hosts Jersey to participate in the tournament. Endit
