U.S. stocks decline as earnings season begins

U.S. stocks pared early gains to end mildly lower Monday, as big U.S. companies are reporting their quarterly results this week.

The Dow fell 0.12 percent, and the S&P 500 lost 0.27 percent, while the Nasdaq was down 0.36 percent. Endit
